Development Center of Education, Science and Technology in the field of defense and security of the state at the Southern Federal University was established in the framework of the RF Presidential Decree of May 7th, 2012 № 603.
BASIC DIRECTIONS AND RESULTS OF OPERATIONS
1. Ensuring the coordinated interaction of SFU scientific and educational divisions with the leading general designers on the most important directions of AMSE creation and organizations of military-industrial complex;
2. Carrying out fundamental and applied researches, enabling the creation of advanced scientific and technical basis for the AMSE development and modernization;
3. Preparation of highly qualified staff and ensuring the influx of young professionals in the defense industry;
4. Development of the SFU leading scientific schools focused on the scientific researches and applied developments in the field of defense and security of the state;
5. Development of the proposals on transfer of the defense researches results to the civilian sector of the economy;
6. Execution of expert works on requests of the Russian military-industrial complex, the Fund of Advanced Studies and federal executive authorities.
