On 17 February 2017 the Direction of foundation for small businesses assistance in the sphere of science and technology has announced the winners of the program “UMNIK 2016”.

The jury has selected 27 projects submitted to the “UMNIK” program and 7 projects of the all-Russian contest “UMNIK-NTI” among which there were 3 projects by the fellows of RDIRCS of SFEDU:

  • Gurenko Boris Viktorovich “Development of robotic mini-ship for ecological monitoring and hydrographic works”
  • Matsiborko Vladimir Vladimirovich “Developent of Combustion Process Sensor based on Flame Conductance Analysis”
  • Sinayavskaya Ekaterina Dmitrievna “Development of a Prototype of a Robotic Assistant for Automatic Laparoscope Control in Minimally Invasive Surgery”

It should be mentioned that out of 18 winners representing the Southern Federal University, 6 representatives became the laureates of the VII youth school-seminar “Control and Information Process in Technical Systems” as a part of semi-final events of the program “UMNIK” that was held in April 2016 in the city of Yevpatoriya (Crimea) under the organizational assistance of RDIRCS of SFEDU.
